The Savior Wants to Forgive

Hello Brothers and Sisters! How has life been treating you? This spring has not been very warm but I know that the Holy Ghost can fill that void with Heavenly Father's undying love for you! A lot has happened in my life over this past month and a half that I have been so grateful for and I cannot type it all without boring you all. So I'll just move on with this post. (:

I watched this Mormon message video today and I loved what it was saying. God and Jesus Christ are always there for you. They do not ever leave. They will forgive all of your wrongdoings if you Come unto Him. I have found peace and comfort in that statement and can testify of that truthfulness. I never feel so close to my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ more, than when I repent and humble myself. The Atonement makes everything possible and I am so grateful for all that it does for me in my life; even though I do not fully understand its magnitude.

On lds.org, it says this about the Atonement: "As used in the scriptures, to atone is to suffer the penalty for sins, thereby removing the effects of sin from the repentant sinner and allowing him or her to be reconciled to God. Jesus Christ was the only one capable of carrying out the Atonement for all mankind. Because of His Atonement, all people will be resurrected, and those who obey His gospel will receive the gift of eternal life with God." The great news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that everyone will be resurrected! We will all live again! Nothing we do will prohibit us from that. I know that since this is true that it is never too late to repent. We can always turn away from our sins. There is no "The End", there is only, a new beginning. I know that as we follow Jesus Christ and repent of our sins we will greatly blessed in our lives with more peace, hope, and love for our fellow men. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
